CARE Website – Terms of Use for CSA Internet Hygiene Portal API
Thank you for using the Cyber Security Health Check service (“Service”) provided by Computer Analysts and Recovery Experts Pte Ltd ("CARE") via API access from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (“CSA”). By accessing and using this Service on the CARE website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use this Service.
1. General
These Terms of Use may be amended by CARE from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Proprietary Rights
The CARE website and its content are owned and managed by CARE. The Cyber Health Lookup Tools and all reports, results, and information ("Contents") provided through this Service are provided by CSA and remain the property of CSA. All rights, title, and interest in the Contents, including any underlying software, data, or intellectual property, are owned by or licensed to CSA and/or CARE as applicable.
3. Privacy Policy

By using this Service, you also acknowledge and accept that domain names and relevant technical data submitted for scanning will be shared with CSA for processing and may be stored by CSA according to their privacy policies.

You may not modify, reverse-engineer, or use the Service for purposes other than those intended (i.e., legitimate website or email hygiene checks on domains you own or are authorized to scan). Any unauthorised use may infringe proprietary rights of CARE and/or CSA.
5. Disclaimer
The Service and all Contents are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CARE and CSA disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful elements.
Neither CARE nor CSA shall be liable for any damage or loss, whether direct or indirect, arising from the use of the Service, including reliance on any results, reports, or recommendations.
6. Right of Access
CARE and CSA reserve the right to deny, restrict, or terminate access to this Service to any user at any time, without prior notice and without ascribing any reason.

By using this Service, you confirm that you are the owner of, or have authorised access to, the domain name submitted for scanning. You authorize CARE and CSA to process your request and perform security scans on the specified domain.
The scan results are based on current best practices and technical references curated by CSA (including NIST and IETF RFCs) and are intended for informational purposes only. The results do not constitute a comprehensive assessment of your domain’s cybersecurity posture, nor do they guarantee protection against cyber threats.
Cybersecurity standards and best practices may evolve over time, and the tools and results may be updated periodically. Users are encouraged to regularly check for updates and to consult with qualified cybersecurity professionals for further advice.
11. Data Collection & Use
By submitting a scan request, you acknowledge that the submitted domain names and relevant public technical data may be collected and processed by CARE and CSA for the purposes of this Service, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
